Fine Food ProductsOur aim is to produce fine food products from our own livestock on a small scale. Phillip Edge has been trained by an ex-smithfield lecturer in pork butchery and curing techniques - ensuring our products are among the best you can buy. Ours is a true farm shop at least 90 per cent of what we sell is ours and made on site, our smaller scale production ensures that standards are maintained. Our products are best bought direct from the farm shop supporting the principle of local shopping and best quality. GammonWon North West Fine Foods Producer of the Year 2003, Best Meat and Best Cured Meat, beating off 300 of the region's best fine food products. Craig Bancroft of Northcote Manor described it as having "a really great texture with a wonderful moist flavour and perfect balance of salt and fat". This product is available in Gammon Steaks, and in Gammon joints for roasting. It is suitable for mail order. Sausage40 varieties of sausage are produced ranging from Pork to 'Gunk-free' (just pork, salt and pepper) to semi-cured Toulouse, an Italian variety with fennel seed, inspired by an Italian neighbour and Boerwors which incorporates cloves and roasted coriander seeds - originally created for a customer from South Africa. BaconAvailable in Middle cut, Short Back, Streaky, Long Back, Slipper, Corner (our favourite!) These are also suitable for mail order. PorkFresh pork products include porchetta, pork chops, loin / leg steaks, succulent roasts, etc etc sold fresh from the counter. We never freeze our product and prefer to sell it direct from our farm shop to maintain quality. Mail OrderMost of our sales are currently made through the farm shop, but mail order for cured products is available on request. Please contact for current prices and details.
